When I first heard about The Hunger Games, I thought the people said "The Hungry Games." I thought it'd be something awesome like food eating contests.
Eating contests are like softcore porn. They're not eating it to enjoy eating it. Hiding out in the dumpster across from a fancy restaurant with a pair of binoculars, watching people actually eat and enjoy their food? Now that is some good food porn.
what a game. levels were kind of boring and repetetive but it continues the story in a great way and my god...the gameplay makes for some intense boss battles
i beat the main game and then went on to beat riku's story too. but sora's final boss (both the phases) were easy. it was all the sub-bosses leading up to him that were hard as shit
While the game isn't terrible by any means, it has a very "been there, done that" feeling. The hand to hand combat is pretty sweet, but the shooting mechanics need some tuning. Predictable narrative. Rent it or wait for it to drop in price. Good for a play through, but it's a one and done kinda game.
Amazing game. The Witcher 2 does what Mass Effect 3 promised yet never achieved -- the game molds itself around your actions. Entire sections of the game play out completely differently depending upon what you did in the previous chapter. And *grasp* the decisions you make actually impact the ending. I highly, highly recommend this to any semi-serious RPG fan. A steep challenge, finely tuned combat system, great plot, impressive visuals, and an all around awesome experience make the Witcher 2 one of my favorite games of this gen.
