White Screen Bug Fix

It was brought to my attention that sometimes, mostly on Internet Explorer, the site would load then switch to a white screen. This was due to a bug in the hit counter and I have replaced it with a home-made script.

I had it happen to me on chrome once I think! But yeah, I dont know why it happened on IE (the latest version too) a lot and not the other two. I wish all browsers were forced to use the same standards.

do you track visitor stats? specifically what browser is being used? it'd be interesting to see what % actually use IE

The server stats say 2%, google analytics says 3.3% which I am more inclined to believe. Safari beats it at 10%.
