I think Mordin would only dance if he found some very logical reason to do so.
 
I would say that all of the reasons are that I'm out of booze but:

A. That would be a lie, I have plenty of booze
B. I don't need booze to do the rump shaker.

Let's see if Logan can win this game. I bet SAB could come up with some very clever reasons.
 
There is only ever one reason to dance, so you can be friends with The Men Without Hats.
 
But they specifically tell you that you can leave your friends behind.
 
It's implied that the friends you're leaving behind are of the non-dancing variety, because your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, then they're no friends of mine.

Your friends are supposed to dance.
