April fools prank where Travis died in a car accident

This was a really foggy memory I thought about the other day. Wasn't there a rumor that Travis died in a car wreck on a different Zelda Forums? I can't remember if it was actually for April fools or not. TRAVIS TELL THE STORY

I remember this. I don't know if it was an April Fool's joke or not, but it definitely occurred on the Deku Boards. I'm thinking Summer 2001.

I thought it was on here? Maybe it crossed over to both.

Only thing I remember about Deku Boards is me being a dickhead so it could be true that it was on there too.

I remember it happening on the Deku Boards, but it definitely could have been on both. I don't think I was a member here at that point.
