I hope this thing has a scratch resistant screen like my iPod touch. I slip that thing in my pocket all the time with keys, change, the works shuffling around. There isn't a scratch on the damn thing.
The screen is touch enabled, as seen at the show.
There is a "touch pad" on the back of the system that could serve various purposes. For instance, sliding your fingers up and down on the touch pad could simulate climbing a wall.
And I agree Logan, the 360 controller is far superior to the PS3...
The analog nubs look like they're more in line with the Dual Shock controllers design, and aren't at quite as awkwardly placed.
The buttons also appear to be smaller and grouped in a tighter formation, making it less of a strain to reach around (lol) for a button.
Still isn't looking like the...
When I first watched it I thought aside from the melee it looked like a copy of ME2 ( Not necessarily a bad thing!)
Then I went back and noticed all the subtle changes.
The guns seem to have a little more heft and damage to them, the animations are more fluid, and the cover system looks like...
It won't.
The PSP is garbage. Let's face it. It was priced wrong, had terrible controls, and not alot of interesting content was ever developed for it.
But just because Sony is doomed to second place it doesn't mean that the Vita can't be a great platform. The hardware is there. It ALL depends...
I'm not saying that the 3DS won't end up being a viable platform. It's a Nintendo handheld, in a year or two it'll be unstoppable. There is almost zero chance of the Vita beating the 3DS in terms of sales and adoption rates.
But so far the only game the 3DS had a pretty terrible launch line up...
Apparently Sony learned from it's past mistakes, and are enticing a shit ton of developers to work on their platform.

But I agree. If the Vita's library ends up like the PSP, it'll be a complete failure.
The fact that they were able to create a handheld that graphically rivals home platforms AND keep it's price point competitive with the competition is nothing short of astounding imo. It's priced perfectly. If it were any cheaper they'd have to start cutting corners to justify the cost of...
Really looking at Nintendo to steal the show. There hasn't really been anything thus far to really justify a 3DS (Outside of a port of one of the best games of all time.), so they need to show some nice original software for the platform.
Project Cafe is almost guaranteed to steal the show...
They've got a lot of cool things on Gametrailers I missed. The Prey 2 demo was pretty cool looking. I'm happy they had a little Deus Ex coverage, obviously. Ninja Gaiden III I was a little skeptical about...It looks cool but the quick time events worry me.
It's a sad day when out of 4 press...
I've got some Xbox Live Arcade titles I need to beat! So until Duke comes out I'll be mainly playing:
Lara Croft And the Guardian of Light
Mega Man 9
Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter
