Yeah, I paid $70 for mine and it was pretty ridiculous. Funny that these pro controllers are getting scalped too. Then again the dock which is nothing more than plastic and a PCB is $90 sooooo
Nintendo has risen from the grave thanks to the success of the Switch and Breath of the Wild. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will push the Switch to much greater heights and Nintendo will live on for much longer.
Or something.
The wife used to play the shit out of this. But yeah, once you upgrade your apartments and get all the stuff it gets kind of redundant. Still like to boot it up once in a while just to see whats going on.
I've gotten used to Xbox one Controller. It's ok, still feels a little cramped but the redesign made it a lot better. That first model sucked. The dualshock 4 is ok, I like it better than the previous dualshocks.
I enjoy the Switch Pro Controller the most. Has nice big buttons for my big hands.
Paid the $5 to EA so I could download the trial yesterday. Played a bit and IDK, I wasn't too impressed. The graphics for the area and world are pretty good, but good lord do the character models look weird. I think it's their eyes, they all are wide eyed or too big or something. Their facial...
I dunno, because if it wasn't for the lack of story and kinda meh boss fights, this game would have dethroned Ocarina of Time for me. Right now, Breath of the Wild easily sits in second place ahead of the rest of them, although sometimes I feel like its a 1a 1b kind of thing, but argh it was so...
Well this game reminded me a lot of the first nes game and the story and explanation is about on par lol.
Shame really because outside the boss fights and the story everything else is near perfect.
Outside of the rain annoyance, that is my only gripe with the game. The divine bosses are ok, but felt a little too samey on their last phases when they all try to zap you with that laser that the guardians have. The divine beasts dungeons are fine, but again are pretty similar. Gaining access...
I finally killed a Lynel yesterday. Hylian Shield makes it much easier although he still gets lucky with some swings and they go under my shield and hit me.
So apparently if you freeze a boulder (or probably any object that Link can climb) with your statis ability, hit it a bunch so it will fly away when statis comes off and Link grabs on to the side of it, he can fly with it. Lol
