Blogging is weird. There are probably hundreds of millions of bloggers out there, most of which are people who reveal their innermost thoughts and feelings to complete strangers, probably because no one in real life pays attention to them.

Does no one see anything wrong with this?

Dont you think its just a little sad and pathetic that so many people have to write down their secrets on the internet and post them anonymously because there is not a single person in their lives they feel comfortable confiding in?

Most people aren't sad because their brains don't work properly. Most people are sad because their lives suck!

wat.

I look at it as a way to vent, I don't see forum posts being much different than blogs.

One time or another we were all strangers too!

Well, take for example I used to have a livejournal, and even though it wasn't set to private, I would put all kindsa secrets and thoughts on there I wouldn't tell to anybody I knew, because I made it anonymous. Shit I've never gone into with you guys even though I've known you for like 7 years, shit I've only ever actually told one person in real life, and that was after I was finished with the LJ.

There's the whole stigma of LJ = emo emo lol, and while I absolutely despise the use of the word emo when it's branded on anybody who ever shows any emotions, as it often is, to an extent it's true - people will tell anonymous strangers on the internet things that they'd never tell their family or friends. And I think our society is a little messed up when that's the case.

lol, my parents don't even know me and my ex are broke up!

I don't feel like telling them, and they never ask.

Yeah I don't tell my parents jack shit about my personal life, if they ask how I'm doing I just go 'good'

Lies!

That's another thing, I don't like how people only ask others how they are because it's considered a polite way to start a conversation. Nobody really gives a shit how you are, and I bet that 90% of the time if you answered 'terrible' instead of 'fine thanks, you?', nobody would ever even notice.

I have to say it to 1000 people a day, I personally could care less!

I can't act like I give a damn either.

I just say 'hi' to customers I don't give a dead moose's last SHIT how they're doing!

I think its just weird talkin to my parents about personal life. I dont think the internet has anything to do with that - I just wouldnt tell anyone if no internet. I do tell my ex most things though.

I wish I didnt work in customer service though.

I don't blog or whatever. I usually vent and complain to someone else. :(
