Back in November, I uploaded a test video of a recording of A Link Between Worlds using at the time a very jerry-rigged setup of a box and a DSLR. The results were okay, but not optimal and not very efficient as I would have to keep the 3DS perfectly still and even then the video quality wasn't the best.
Thankfully last week, my wife sent off one of my 3DS to be retrofitted with a video capture device. Below is the video taken from the device. As you can see, a big improvement.
This will play a big part in my plans going forward with the website. I can't give the full details now as they are still in the testing phase, but I have done some very fiddly tasks on the back-end over the past few weeks to allow the web server to handle what I want to do. The Ocarina of Time section plans to be my first area of the site with the new format, but we'll see how it goes.
(P.S. Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros look awesome!)
