i know there are plenty AC haters here...but this trailer got me pumped. still havent heard anything about a connection to modern times yet tho

its not about the frequency of releases as much as it is following thru with what developers say. after AC they've released a game every year. are they milking it? sure but ubisoft has the resources to do so and has lived up to that greedy expectation. they've never said they were doing anything...

this game kind of reminds me of halo 3: odst. its like an add on game they marketed as a full one. either way im liking it. campaign was my 2nd fav of the series and the MP modes are a fresh take. although i dont like that they tried to make it more "multiplayer friendly" than a true gears game...
ya had to really like not just AC overall...but AC3 and connor specifically to like the dlc. which is kind of hard seeing as how a lot of people view connor as an asshole.
the dlc was alllllllllright. gameplay was fairly fun. story was fairly fun (although also fairly unoriginal). i just was hoping for them to incorporate all the characters into the dlc's story and gameplay rather than have the couple they missed show up to get wasted at the end.

i wasnt gonna pre-oder it but did last week anyway. im not as pysched as i was for gears 3 (which i loved and put A LOT of hours into) but still looking forward to it. but i learned last week that the second part of the AC3 dlc comes out tomorrow too...so ill probably play that first then gears
